# About SmartAirGuide & Our Editorial Team _Last updated: 2026-09-26_ ## Who we are SmartAirGuide is an independent publisher of buying guides, setup and usage instructions, troubleshooting steps and maintenance schedules for home air-quality and comfort appliances. The site is owned and operated by Wulucai Trading Firm (厦门市湖里区五路财贸易商行), Xiamen, China. ## Our editorial team Pages are written and maintained by SmartAirGuide Editorial. We are a small editorial team, not a test laboratory: unless a page explicitly says otherwise, we do not perform in-house testing. - We compile specifications from manufacturer manuals and retailer listings and label them as such. - We explain selection criteria (sizing, capacity, noise, running cost) before suggesting any product. - We write troubleshooting and maintenance content that solves the problem first. - We do not accept payment for rankings, and we do not invent ratings or reviews. ## How we work - Explain first, recommend second. - Cite public sources (U.S. EPA, ENERGY STAR, AHRI, U.S. Department of Energy) and manufacturer documentation. - Keep every page dated with a Last updated value and correct errors reported by readers. - See the Editorial Policy for the full method and data labels. ## How we make money Outbound links to marketplaces may be affiliate links and we may earn a commission at no extra cost to the buyer. Affiliate relationships do not change the criteria we publish. Full details are in the affiliate disclosure and the Editorial Policy. ## Contact For corrections, data-feed or partnership questions, email support@smartairguide.com.
