Frequently asked questions
What CADR do I need for a bedroom?
As a working rule, aim for a smoke CADR of at least two-thirds of the room's floor area in square feet (8 ft ceiling, about 5 air changes per hour). A 200 ft² bedroom points to at least ~130 CFM; use ~200 CFM for a strong margin.
Does HEPA remove pet odors?
No. HEPA captures particles such as dander and hair fragments. Odors are gases and need activated carbon; the amount of carbon matters more than the word 'carbon' on the box.
