Frequently asked questions
Does reverse osmosis remove minerals I need?
RO removes most dissolved solids, including some minerals. If you want to keep or restore minerals, look for a system with a remineralization stage; otherwise diet is the main source of minerals.
How often should RO filters be replaced?
Typical intervals are 6–12 months for pre/post carbon filters and 1–3 years for the RO membrane, but a system's own manual and your water quality determine the real schedule.
